A 34-year-old man from Chaguanas was granted $250,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Adrian Darmanie at the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court charged with assault. He is expected to reappear in court on December 6th.

According to a police report, on April 18th the victim was at her home when she got into an argument with her common-law husband, who was allegedly intoxicated.
